Dogs

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Permitted arrival/departure time

Camping and touring
Arrive: 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Depart by: 12 p.m.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Clayford Field cancellation policy

Bookings cannot be amended within 5 day(s) of arrival.

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book.
You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.

Payment

Clayford Field will debit the balance from your card 1 week before arrival, or if the arrival date is sooner than 1 week then the balance will be taken immediately.

Arrivals and departures

Group bookings of 2 or more units travelling together are not permitted.
No hen/stag parties permitted
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only – bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Twin axle vehicles and Flat bed trucks are not permitted on site.

Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying     passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

Admission
Admission is only permitted after registering with Clayford field when you are on site.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.
The site will send you further check-in information before your arrival, via text message to the telephone number used to make the booking and or to the email address given whilst booking.

Changes to your holiday
Bookings cannot be amended within 5 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
Dogs must be kept on leads when near local farms and livestock.

Extras
Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General
Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to the management of Clayford field immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management’s attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Noise
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume during the daytime and turned of by 10pm. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly after 10pm.
This is a quiet site: absolutely no music is allowed after 10pm
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Occupancy
Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tent or motorhome travelling together are not permitted.
Any bookings that try to pitch together above two will be required to move to a pitch at least 50 metres away and camp separately.
No hen/stag parties permitted.
No noisy parties are allowed
The site caters for a lot of families (immediate members) and couples only please respect the quite hours.

Pitches
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Safety
Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Open fires
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles
Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site. No flat bed trucks.
No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.

Visitors
Visitors must register at the site and pay their fee.

Additional terms
Please note that access to the site is along a two-mile gravel bridleway, that is a privately owned
Ownership and condition of the private bridleway is outside the control of Clayford field and as such no liability will be accepted for any damage, accidents or injuries whilst using the private access road.

How can i pay for a reservation ?

You can pay through our website or you can book us through Pitchup.com. You can pay cash by prior arrangement.

Do you have WIFI ?

We do have free wifi, that is offered on an as is basis, available on most of the field.

Which currency do we accept ?

We accept GBP Sterling on the site.

Do you have a laundry service ?

We do not currently have a laundry service available.

Frequent questions

Can we book 4 pitches of 2 student and then camp together?

Sorry, but this would be classed as a group booking and unacceptable, you would have to pitch apart from each other.

Can i bring my dog who is half pitbull ?

Sorry but no dogs that have breeding listed in the dangerous dogs act are permitted.

Can i play music from my car with the doors open ?

Sorry, that would not be permitted as we are a quite site.
